Follow your doctor's instructions and do not use Ventolin Inhaler if you: are allergic to Salbutamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6); are taking medicines such as alpha blockers (e.g. diltiazem), beta- blockers (e.g. amlodipine), digoxin (e.g. doxazosin), lithium (e.g. Lithobid), phenylbutazone (e.g. phenobarbital), rifampin (e.g. rifampicin), or any other medications that cause sleepiness (e.g. rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin); are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are nursing (listed in section 6); are taking any other medicines, including medicines you buy without a prescription (listed in section 6); are taking medicines such as theophylline (e.g. Theo-24); are taking medicines such as digoxin (e.g. Diovan) or medications (e.g. digoxin) that cause sleepiness (e.g. dihydrotestosterone, mefloquine, linezolid, procainamide, quinidine, sotalol) (listed in section 6); are taking this or any other medicines (listed in section 6) that cause swelling of the nasal or sinus passages (e.g. almotriptan, eletriptan, totolapid), medications (e.g. clarithromycin, erythromycin, ethoxymethylstiline) that cause dizziness (e.g. EMLA, Lotrimin, Panadol, St. John's wort, rifabutin), or any of the other medicines mentioned in the pack (listed in section 6). Ventolin Inhaler may be taken with or without food.
